Beginning in 2010, the California Energy Commission is requiring CF-1R forms to be electronically registered prior to Building Permit approval.  Energy Consultants adhere to this regulation by registering the forms they prepare with the CHEERS Document Registry.

The regulation further states that all registered documents must be "signed" by the Project Owner or Designer.  Each  Owner or Designer needs to register with this site and log in to sign documents.
